'I Can’t Believe I Was Reborn in Another World as an Average, Ordinary Rock!' is a lot to say. Why is it so long?
The name is both a parody and homage to Japanese series that are overly wordy in their titles. To keep things simple refer to the comic as 'In Another World as a Rock', for short.
What is 'In Another World as a Rock' about?
'In Another World as a Rock' is the story of a 20-something otaku who is reincarnated into a fantasy world as a typical rock. It is an ongoing weekly series presented in a four-panel Yonkoma format.
When did In Another World as a Rock first start?
The comic began on March 15, 2019.
Where did the idea for this comic come from?
Isekai (Japanese: 異世界, lit. "different world") is a very popular genre of media in Japan. As such, I made a Mini-Yōikoma that lampooned some of the more outlandish titles of this category. After taking a step back, I realized that I could actually create an ongoing series by tweaking the premise of this stand-alone comic and here we are.
How often does 'In Another World as a Rock' update?
The series is currently on an extended hiatus. Under normal circumstances, 'In Another World as a Rock' updates every Friday. Usually I post a single strip, but occasionally I share more than one comic at a time.
When will the hiatus end?
Currently rethinking the correct format to produce the series in. No set date on when it will return.
Who creates 'In Another World as a Rock'?
The same guy who creates everything else on 'Omake Theater'. Just call him Onii-san.
